Posted by Lori Grierson on 29th Nov 2012
I've bought other diapers for my indoor roo, and he can either get out of them, poo out of them, or both. Plus he was having a problem keeping his balance with them, and he just didn't look comfortable, not to mention the inconsistency in the sizes. (and, I was not going to return something that he had pooed on!) This holster/diaper is just awesome. The workmanship itself is amazing. Mokiki can't get out of it, can perch with it on (without falling over) and it's just so easy to use. I was originally lining the liner with a bit of tissue, but it's perfect just the way that it's designed. I just use the liner now, and change him 3 times a day. I just have to always make sure that I have it wrapped well around his booty, and not a problem to be had! (no smell either!)

My students an I did a hatching project this year and 3 egges hatched. Everyone bonded and the idea of giving up our chickens just didn't work with my students. I needed something that would allow our babies to grow up in a classroom and these diapers worked! I got the small size first for when the chicks where growing up and now I'm getting the large. I wouldn't think to get any other kind than the wrap around harness. My students can take them on walks during recess and teachers request that they come to classrooms during science lessons. These diapers have allowed my chickens and me so much access. Plus they are so easy to clean and keep up with. I really love them.

Spot is loving being able to walk around the house now. She is doing so great with the diaper. It was a little big for her but I found ways to make it fit. She is so cute in pink.

Barney needs his diaper soon. He is not neat (to put it nicely). The other diaper works great on my hen.

I have an easter egg americana bantam hen who is my sidekick in educating people about chickens. She walks on a leash. I would love this so that I could take her into town and walk her in the park. But because of the poop, thats the only thing holding me back. I am going to aim to get one of these.
